jarred1: What happened when we took a lie detector on some internet dates
If you mean "if", I'm sure we would all fail one way or the other, although I've been as honest as i possibly can. I have nothing to prove by lying and if people don't like the way I am, then I wouldn't want to be associated with those people.

manofire: So what happened?
If you cant find a machine you can have my ex!
The accuracy (i.e., validity) of polygraph testing has long been controversial. An underlying problem is theoretical: There is no evidence that any pattern of physiological reactions is unique to deception. An honest person may be nervous when answering truthfully and a dishonest person may be non-anxious.
I've ling suspected that some on the Jeremy Kyle show are glaringly inacurate.
It is generally accepted that they are only 70% accurate and I would trust my instinct with a partner rather than these.

You will get cancer from the radiation of the lie detector, then if you live in the states, the Feds, FBI, Ncis whole of the police department will come after you and charge you, it will be broadcasted live on all of the television channels, and you will have a mountain loads of legal bills to face, spend about 5 years in the court system, and about 10 years behind bars, where you will become someone's wife.
If I took a lie detector machine to a date, then I could say I'm an FBI agent, or a CIA inquisitor, and the machine would start to rattle immediately. Or maybe not. You wouldn't know either way.
That's why I never say on the first dates what I do for a living, how come I am in this country, and what I had just smoked before the date.
