The former president of an Oregon community college where a gunman opened fire has only one security officer on duty at a time, and that person isn't armed.

I can imagine the frustation of the security officer, but i think even if he is armed, he would be caught by surprise in front of a crazy determined to do a massacre. Laws must now be adapted to the kind of society we're having at present,, so sad,

Since the December 2012 shooting in Newtown, CT, there have been at least 142 school shootings in America — an average of nearly one a week. How many more before our leaders pass common-sense laws to prevent gun violence and save lives?

I cannot understand it either. I can understand if someone is feeling depressed and suicidal, but I cannot comprehend a homicidal mind. There must be something sick and broken inside the mind that defies all logic.

Could it because society is more medicated, and full of unnatural chemicals than before?
In a world where children are medicated for behaving like children, sadness is treated with drugs, etc. Etc. Is it not surprising that people are acting contrary to what we consider normal behaviour to ne?

Gun laws can be a prevention, yet many with killing on their mind will find someone, albeit with a gun case.
Or there is non people with no records within the loose fabric of allowing a gun li'cence,
"grant a license to (someone or something) to permit the use of something or to allow an activity to take place"
I pray for all the families that have been so terribly affected from this shocking strike of evil, that has worked its way to the very core of innocents.
