im ashamed to say id probably ignore him. we really do need to address this homeless problem. im deeply concerned about it. its causing serious mental health problems.

Don't feel bad "the Lad" most people do..(as in turn their backs when they see someone less fortunate than them)..
But as we both know and understand the problem starts with the banking system and the people behind it...

No, in many cases it is the other way around.

I'm not suggesting that being homeless could not result into mental health problems.
An ideal breeding ground for health problems it is, the same for problems with addiction.
But also here with addictions it is mostly the cause of homelessness and not a result of being homeless.
It is a complex problem, contradictory as it may sound, one where an emphasis on housing/accommodation will not be long lived solution.

i do understand where you're coming from and you're not wrong but im coming from the point of the many families that are currently homeless and living in temporary accommodation. this will more than likely induce mental health problems or even exacerbate mental health problems that already exist in these people. our homelessness and mental health problems are a mess. i do except homelessness and mental health problems are extremely complicated problems and interweave on many complicated levels.
