I have a few very clear, lucid memories from about 2 or so, but really cannot remember being a baby, per se. Of all things, I remember the Halloween right after I turned 2, but not anything before that. (A neighbor had tripped on our doorstep, and had dropped and spilled a huge bowl of candy. I believe I have this memory because of the big "event" that it was to a small child. I've never forgotten that day).------ This thread is Archived ------

Yep! have to agree with you about that Willow.
I know this may be hard to believe but i can recollect having my first bath when i was just 1 day old. I recall seeing a strange large dark haired woman in a dark blue and white spotted dress standing over me with what seemed to be huge hands (at the time) moving all over me. I know i didn't like it at the time as i was crying my eyes out. Years later my Mum produced a photo that was taken on that very occasion. Although the photo was taken in black and white, my Mum explained that the large dark haired woman in a spotted dress was in fact the Midwife who was helping out for the first few days considering it was a home birth, and that the photo confirmed me having my first bath at 1 day old...balling my eyes out
.After that my next memory was around 2 years of age having fallen down the stairs... more tears
