2intrigued: Did this really happen? You lucky cougar minx you.
It really happened.
I'm sure the young doc assistant is accustomed to this type of reaction of all ages. He is lovely and assertive and funny. That got me through an uncomfortable moment.

Why doesn't my doctor have a lovely and assertive and funny young male assistant.

My regular doctor doesn't have one either. I went to my regular doc first thing yesterday morning and they don't take walk-ins anymore, and no doc in that practice had an opening until Monday. So I went to an Urgent Care this morning aka Doc in a Box. I think it was great! No wait. Real doctors. Personable, attentive, in and out, voila. And not to mention the charming assistant.
This is where I went about a year ago when I tore my MCL. I don't remember that charming assistant, but I don't remember much of anything. The pain was excruciating mind numbing.
While I was there this morning, I asked the doctor to check out my shoulder. I have suspected I've had a torn rotator cuff for a few years, and have learned to live with it. But for some reason, it has been in increasing in pain the last few months, I'm losing range of motion, and have problems carrying weight on that arm now. The top of my arm is swollen most of the time now. He took an xray within moments and it's not torn, but I have a strained rotator muscle. Physical therapy here I come again.

Doc in a box. We have those where I live and they're called walk-in clinics here. They're great to have in a pinch or if ya need a poke or two.
If it's not one thing, it's another but I'm glad you found out what's up with your shoulder and physical therapy is the solution.
