I am fortunate enough to live in a beautiful province within a vast country of suck immense geographic and cultural beauty that I have yet to fully explore, that all of my travel plans will remain internal. Anyways, travel to other countries involves subjugation to paranoia to a degree that I find just a bit too much.

I like my beautiful country as well. And I like my beautiful homeland...but I have these yearnings to see SOME countries, not all!!!
The reason I brought up the subject is because most people nowadays want to go off somewhere foreign and it's interesting to hear what attracts people.
Maybe it would have been better to have asked WHY people wanted to go to certain places!!!!!!!

I do get to travel to other countries to fight fires,....and that is cool...the restrictions seem to fade away. IFA's with the USA, Mexico, Australia, NZ, Spain, Portugal...so long as its burning travel is easy...but to vacation...restrictions get more and more...so I explore this vast country I live in. Bottom line - so long as my wife is beside me...I do not have to travel far!

My plan to go to Asia just went down because of chauvinism (I think, yet not 100 % sure of it) but instead it might be northern Europe for a few months and later, still undecided. It depends on my children’s school (graduate program).

My daughter will go to an EuroCamp with her class to Bilbao in April... and may be we will follow her there hehehe ...or take a trip to London while she´s away.
