Just because many may or may not be aware. "San Bernadino" Especially "Riverside" in my own experience has been a place where crime is not just "high", but even back in the 70's when my first new ride was stolen along with 3 awesome electric guitars ( rare ones now ) were ripped and the car was stripped down and the woman that set it up actually had a message sent to where I could pick up what was left of it so I would leave town. You know..they just needed a little money to party with. I drove back to Portland barefooted and only jogging shorts. When I went to pick it up a large man was there and had me drive him to a designated place and then just walked off. The Police there actually told me they would take me to jail if I did not leave and would not even make a official report. On my way home I stopped at a truck stop and was talking to a man that makes that route often. He kinda rolled his eyes and laughed in a bit cynical way as he explained that the company he drove for made him and others never leave their truck unattended as they would just cut the lock and empty a semi in the time it takes to go take a leak. I know that what I just wrote was not about guns directly but if you can read between the lines you know that if you were in the way or not damn lucky you just disappeared if that was the easiest way for the one doing the "job" to get the fix or whatever they were into. I imagine there is someone here that will tell you it is a lovely place but seriously it is one "badáss" place!

==The overall crime rate in San Bernardino is 70% higher than than the national average.
==For every 100,000 people, there are 14.49 daily crimes that occur in San Bernardino.
==San Bernardino is safer than 5% of the cities in the United States. "WOW"
--In San Bernardino you have a 1 in 19 chance of becoming a victim of any crime.
--The number of total year over year crimes in San Bernardino has decreased by 9%. So as crazy as you might think it is actually a bit better than it was overall (I believe that murder has risen there a bit though)

It would not make a big difference. Especially in the place this happened. Laws are only going to work if they can be enforced. Even this very minute there are crimes being committed all over the world and a law being bent, broken and twisted. I think what we truly need is for people to take responsibility of their actions and to use the conscious that they seem to have lost. At the same time I understand your response. I just don't think it would make the difference. In the USA it has become a common practice to break the laws until they are literally "broken", "Broken" as in they just do not work anymore. I know that these talks always get out of hand but I really do think that this entire world needs to really start taking responsibility for what it does. I don't know how, but if it does not than we will see more and more of these things and probably more as time marches on.

They may take our guns to keep us from defending ourselves, but we still have cigarette lighters. And the price of gasoline is dropping !

professor Why pay more ?! Burn them for less !

And as always, Merry Christmas and Allahu Stripbar !

i heard a statistic yesterday that there have been more mass shootings in the us than number of days in the calendar year so far.

classified as 4 or more killed.

until the culture of resorting to guns to "settle" the score is examined and ways to solve the problem the slaughter of innocent lives will continue.

I totally agree about taking responsibility but it's got to start somewhere.
After the Paris atrocity, a friend of mine suggested that the only way citizens can protect themselves, is if everyone is armed. Can you imagine...a wild west shoot out

Laws, from time immemorial, are there to be observed,as well to be
broken. The perfect citizens, where every one, observes, behaves
and acts,according to the law,is a UTOPIA.-

Muslims are a dab hand with a homemade bomb. Shootings are normally an African American chimpin out.
