lindsyjones: Some of my great experiences on this site is meeting with friends.

I value friendship so much. They fill up my days with great positive feelings of just about anything. I have traveled the world and met so many of them and I wonder if there are some on here, like me, that have met some friends? Love even?

Would you travel regardless of miles, if you can, just to meet them in person?

Thanks all for your participation.
what about friends who dont reply flowers/emails?wave

purr4mance: thanks ccincy.

i've been here for quite sometime and rarely do i see someone in the forums open up on such a personal level.

used to be this way all the time and it is what i thought made cs special back in the day.

people genuinely shared themselves.

i miss that.

hmmm I usually open up on here every time the wolverines and buckeys play each other. GO BLUE!

Friendship is a serious word for me because friends are the closest people to you apart from family.
I've found good friends here during the years here.

The word "friends/friendship" is used too loosely these days. I agree with one of the previous comments; people on dating sites are acquaintances, not friends. It takes time to build that type of connection. If I met someone on here that over a certain period of time of communicating back and forth I felt we had a connection and could start off as friends and go from there, I would certainly consider traveling to see that person but, the miles are limited. Personally, the first one on encounter, I think the man should travel and see the lady.

I find on this site and other dating sites that men are not looking for just friends but, rather......... and if you are not the barbie doll or model type they don't want anything to do with you. I try not to judge by looks but ladies beware some men's (not all) pics can be deceiving. teddybear
