zoeguevara: How do i even turn this around? To make him want me more
Although many times the messenger is not welcome, you did pose these thoughts and questions. So, in a well-thought-out coup de grace, I hate to break it to you, but you can not "make someone want you more". The pity, all too often, of love, is that it must come from the person, not from a projected idea or interest from the one wanting the love. It's kind of crazy that way. That's why true love between two people is so awesome and wonderful: It's RARE. From what you have written, my final analysis---move on before it hurts even more deeply.

zoeguevara: We have been friends for 2 years. On and Off not an exclusive relantionship for 1 year. When we are together we act like a couple. Intimacy and personal details about our lives. He mentioned that he doesn't want to jump into a relantionship too quickly but it's been a YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He recently confessed his feelings for me. But he doesn't want to be exclusive yet.
You are on the back burner and the peril of you knowing this is enormous. Don't let it cement within your head the idea that he's better than you although I believe I'm wasting my breath by telling you this.
Take a long hard look in your children's eyes and ask yourself if you're prepared to put them through your heart doing whatever it wants. Don't listen to your heart, no one ever says that, but that's the best thing to do. You are nothing and your children are everything. Walk away.

She has a gut instinct that something is wrong. That's what she should listen to.

This man is a role model to millions of boys, I salute him!
I don't think you should spend time thinking of who you are for him (for your own safety treat this as friends with benefits), but rather: are you ok to be with someone - even a lover who sees/meets other women? I mean, even in lover relation there needs to be some trust/respect/care, and being exclusive for one another is in my eyes a basic requirement. Even having just your physical health in mind.
I cannot imagine being in intimate relation with someone, who in between is in intimate situations with other. I find it disrespectful and neglecting.
Yes. I think that he is keeping you as a fallback option in the event that his other relationships don't work out. You should start dating decent honest men. In time you will forget him.
