Capricorn143: I believe Obs is partly right - the WE somehow believe everything itself out, many still think they got cheap labor, but I don't think they are aware that this could also mean cheap products. They are somehow convinced that they can have a cake and eat it too.

I happened to shop at the pigalle section in Paris Capri and Asian market is flooding the front lines of cheap goods. What a joke that is. I didn't buy any of course as they are mostly made in China.

Now technically speaking if they cater to the lower middle class and get by with those poor quality products that last very shortly then buy it again soon, it just makes their life shortened to a cycle of paycheck to paycheck. A very bad policy that is flooding the third world. I would rather buy goods that will last me forever and spend my money on something else that doesn't waste my time. So I only buy products made in Germany, United Kingdom, Switzerland and the US of course. When our US dollar was higher than French Mark, Lira and Swiss Mark, I used to just fly to Europe and shop. It was the English pound that was always higher but I still shopped at Harrods then and Oxford with products of high quality.

WE can still buy good products here in the US but 60 percent of choices for the lower middle class are that of the cheap Asian goods.

Capri, My goodness, I am still so nervous and almost choked out of this barbaric demeanor. It is very scary and they say that fear should not be spread? The whole world should and must watch this and then show it to Merkel. She is in bed with these kind of people? What a cruel world Capri.

I can't live a peaceful life Capri if I were within sight of these people. They can eat human? They are the ones who are so angry and blame it all on us?

My suggestion is that we, the West, should leave them alone and face their own demons that way they don't put the blame on us.

Now multiply that guy with millions there in your place. What a terrible environment you guys are living in.sad flower

I have read the article, these people (EU politicians) live in a bubble, they have no clue about what the reality is like.

One of the quotes form the article:
"If you build a fence, it's the end of Europe as we know it," one senior conservative said. "We need to be patient."

It is what we talked about before: they all hope everything will sort itself out! Patient and wait for what? Another million or 2 or 5 to come in?

It is ridiculous that they still talk about those quota, 160.000 vs. more than a million that are already here!

Germany threatening they will close the border and the rest will be in chaos - of course we will, why doesn't bloody Merkel finally announce no one can come to Germany? She issued the invitation and she should take it back! There will be chaos anyway because of her, so it is not up to Germany to threaten and badmouth the others for not being ready to accept any of her "babies".

As for Schengen and EURO, seems to me it is yet another threat to the EE countries. I cannot see the direct connection as Shengen encompasses more countries than the Euro zone. Plus there has been no Schengen since September,
Well there have been no borders as these masses of ME men just keep on going regardless.

The most stupid is that Germany still believes Erdogan will save them from the influx of masses - yeah sure let us gve him more money, poor thing has lost millions because the Russians (how dare they???) cut off their access to cheap ISIS oil.

At the very beginning of the immigrant flow when I started posting here in the forum, I said Germany would eventually close her borders and the small countries, like mine, will be in big trouble - I hate to be right, but I am.

Capri, it appears to me that Merkel either accepted a lot of money from the Arabians and or she is truly a very stubborn moron who can't see her mistake. Now either that or there are more muslims in your country now that is putting the weight to the European disadvantage.

My my my, it is going to be too late dear Capri and the summit will take place in 4 weeks I guess.

What rules? Schengen was suspended by Germany first! Merkel invited all ME wthout consulting anyone! Sweden had done that even earlier.

Schengen was not well thought out anyway, you cannot give the responsbility to the countries in the South and have them bear all the grunt of the immigration or protecting the outside borders of EU without defining excatly who will do what, how, when to actually protect the common borders. Schengen was considered only in terms of economy not defence/security, whch was a collosal mistake.

Funny how the person posting the thread is in the USA, isn't it? Maybe you should come here and see what it is like in Europe before making interfering comments. Don't listen to what your idiot politicians rant about.

Jana_: what happens is all intended, don't you remember Soros foundations'leaflets found in the migrants, explaining how to reach Europe, how to claim asylum etc.
Some people believe it is because of the Transatlantic trade and investment partnership. Europeans were protesting against this, there were massive rallies in Germany.
Now Germany is all in this migrant crisis, may be Angela Merkel will leave her position and someone else will come, guess who and why. And who will gladly protect the citizens, if there are conflicts?? In return of what? Our economical freedom. I prefer my country leaves the EC and we have the GMO and all other garbage of USA out of here but I think only Orban will have the balls to say No.

I was reading the latest Bond's movie, "Spectre", and I was wondering who inspired who? The movie inspired the people with theory of conspiracy or the other way around? laugh

There WAS a massive rally against TTIP, but it was not connected with the refugee crisis issue.

Yes, but with public attention focused on the migrant crisis, this TTIP will be more easily imposed here

gmo, pharmaceutical products if we talk only about products, as there are also many practices coming with this TTIP and which we would not like seeing in Europe.

Now with that mistake already made, and with them already here, I think that Merkel is right for our own sake. We would be better if we could disperse them over the entire continent. We can better control them and their influence and damage will be smaller on economy and society. What are we facing otherwise - internal conflicts, change of governments, disorder and chaos.

In the same sense that surviving with all your internal organs diseased is better than dying of liver failure.
