wave Battery boosting is quite common here due to minus temps.
People take short trips with the heater, wipers, rear defog,
and the radio on, and combined with cold temps(which lowers battery
efficiency), discharges the battery. The flashing idiot lights
are not reset because of the dead battery. You will probably have
to go to an auto shop so they can reset and clear the computer.
A good thing to when you park your car, is just hold the revs
at least 2000rpm, so you can throw a charge into the battery
before shutting it off. When it is minus temps, the engine needs
all the amps to start it. If it is an older battery, it is already
not at top efficiency to begin with. Hope this helps.comfort
