Indeed, just heard this morning. One of the best character "bad guys" EVER, with a voice as recognizable as Morgan Freeman or John Wayne. Hopefully people will give him the applause he deserves at this years Oscar Obits!

Aww so sad. One of the finest actors in Britain. Isn't it a bit eerie that two very famous people, top of their field, died the same week, of the same disease at the same age. Coincidence I'm sure, but eerie though.
