Ever learned something new, but at a stage where it's embarrassingly much later than you should have?

So, here I am, 45 years old and I learned something today that I definitely should have known earlier in life.

That line in the kids' verse that goes "This little piggy went to market", does NOT mean that he's gone shopping! crying

What have you learned/discovered as an adult that you probably should have realised or learned at a much younger age?

Yup

Childhood = ruined

The last line reads like an escape from the jaws of death after the revelation about the first!

So maybe the wee wee wee all the way home was a symptom of Mad Pig Disease?

It was never roast beef in my childhood. My third little piggy always got soft carrots.

Now I'm thinking even those weren't at their best...

This little piggy went to market, but was deemed to be unclean, and beaten with a stick. All the other little piggys were likewise deemed to be unclean and also beaten. The owner of the piggys was deemed to be unclean, so everybody threw stones at him and pulled his wifes hair. Now they're trying to get to Germany...

Just a rough draft.

The tooth fairy gives you a coin for a tooth that falls out, but the periodontists charges a fortune and then his colleague charges even more for an implant.
