Cinter2: Do real love still exist?

Real love is unconditional. Sometimes referred to as disinterested love or agape, it's when love is given to others, without the shadow of self interest lurking beneath the surface, when nothing is expected in return.

It's rarely displayed, but ironically it's our true nature, we all possess it, it's our true state of being.

I tend to think that love, as it relates to others, is something never earned but given; it is other-centered. It's non-possessive, non-controlling but seldom reciprocated.
