should we stay in EU, Cameron is trying but it will not be a definite nor fully what he wants.

Too much scaremongering about how it would be if we came out. There is a big wide world to trade in. We could set our own prices and names for goods etc.

Exactly
I voted NO in 75 and nothing has changed because many of us knew joining would be what is happening now - I know for a fact that the people who say Yes not only don't care that our laws are made in Brussels with no say from us.
What is more galling is that while we are wasting over GBP 50 Million every week on payed membership, just one week's refusal to pay those subs would take every indigenous UK born low paid worker and state pensioner out of poverty and off benefits, but the facts are that no politician has had the guts to say that publicly and any that have tried were gagged by the media and the political heavies with vested interest. I even know people who have been threatened by the SIB

The YES voters have been indoctrinated by right wing financial crap heads political thinking, philosophy and dogma in the major parties for years, that we will have to struggle if we came out.

That is wrong as like other s who left the EU or are not members we can negotiate business deals both ways with the whole world instead of just the EU.

Mike banana applause ~We agree with this then. Yes this band of so called brothers has grown and grown.
I agree one law for one country does not necessary fit another.
I do not agree with so much, especially sending our figure of family allowance to a woorking mans family who do not live here.
Like you say too many poor disabled, NHS in crises, pensioners dying because cant keep warm. OUT OUT I say for sure.teddybear

Tricky one. Decades ago I'd say no regarding the EU seeing it as a spur of globalisation. In future times Europe may become a hedge against globalism as an alternative to one-world economic rule. An extremely likely alternative to coffee-coloured borg planet is to split the world into cultural similar regional blocks. Regionalism in place of globalism.

Perhaps it's not such a good idea to limit trade with our cultural kin and rough economic equals in order to expand trade with a world that does not think like we do and is more desperate and competitive because it treats its workers like crap.

I would like to remain in Europe so long as Europe sets the interest of itself above the interests of other lands. I'm much more liberal-sceptic than I am eurosceptic. And tbh the refugees, with their raping and pillaging, have made me take a kinder view of the pole who fits a cheap kitchen. Compared to Arabs and the(for example)Vietnamese who infest our prison system, eastern Europeans are practically part of the family.

So now the fight starts. Boris is out his father is in, both to me seem senisble people with different opinions. Camerons knives out already because he reckons out campaign are siding with UKIP and Gallaway. Boris I dont think has called Cameron anything other than he did best job he could in time givenmoping what will happen now. I do no I will be voting OUT OUT as it is a non democratic society and does not take into account the different people and cultures. Anyway it first began to make trade easier now it involves loads more. IT IS A CONTROLING SOCEITY that as I see it.

Redex: Obama seems now to be commenting on, hope this makes people more firm out out I say.

I have a lot of respect for Obama and his family and what he has tried to do for working people in the states.
BUT - I hope when he visits us, someone will have the guts to tell him to butt out of our EU voting issues on the grounds that as our laws are not made by us and he has not tried to live here as a family on a limited budget of GBP 400 per week (20,000 PA) or that of a pensioner with less than GBP 200 per week anywhere in the South of England for a month.

He is therefore totally ignorant of all the facts as to why having read and hears what others outside the EU say first hand who are financially better off than we are here most of us say that we must get OUT now.
