On June 4, 1967 at 105-15 Euclid Avenue in Cleveland, a collection of some of the top black athletes in the country met with -- and eventually held a news conference in support of -- world heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali (front row, second from left), about Ali's refusal to be drafted into the U.S. Army in 1967.

Some very nasty people out there

Yes there is. I find myself sometimes at night just laying here wondering what happened to make the world so full of bitterness and hate. And I know it is not one answer but many things. Sad is it not. The only thing we can do is try and be a shining light in a sometimes dark world. Sometimes tho my light gets dull or goes completely dark. And that is when life reminds me of how much I have to be grateful for. Sorry someone was nasty to you.

I think some people fail to understand my sense of humour. They take things I say in jest as personal attacks on them.
There's also the fact that a large percentage of the community is either a chain smoker, a drunk or on some sort of drug (prescribed or not).
Then you have the ones that married the wrong person for whatever reason then decide to create endless blogs about their ex's. Like how the hell do we know things were that way? How do we know the blogger was a victim? The former spouse husband is not here to defend himself/ herself. And God forbid you make a comment they don't approve of in one of their biased blogs, in that scenario they opt to delete the whole damn thing. Only to create another just the same where they continue to bad mouth their ex. Without realizing that this is the person they procreated with. They must of had sth good or else why did they get together with them on the first place.

I cannot understand why people go scuba diving in an area known for sharks. These monsters are over ten feet long and just see the divers as another meal.
