That depends on the amount you eat in a single sitting and how often you have it.
There are many food items that are the same, salt, sugar, for instance

No...this argument is long-running. Omnivores must learn how to "balance" food intake....but really? Does one seek a quantity of life or a quality of life? I enjoy a steak every once in a while....and even if it is "bad" for me....will forsaking red meat grant me immortality? I do not think so....grin

Everything in moderation, but would only eat it on occasion.

Now, me personally, I stick with fish, seafood, chicken, turkey.

Only eat red meat rarely, like 2-3 times a year.

Whoa! Way too much mercurial contamination in seafood! Poultry? A bacterial infestational circus! That is why I only eat it 5-6 times a week,...in between consuming a few water buffalo as snacks!

Red meat could be bad if it has too much fat and because of the hormones that the ranchers inject to the animals.

No red meat for me though.

i rarely eat red meat...usually chicken if i eat meat.

i found early, age 16 or so..that if i ate a lot of red meat my allergies got worse...but that's just me...and i still enjoy the occasional bbq steak, or burger.

as already said by another member, MODERATION is the way to go.

Yes and No

Yes
- because it takes alot of energy to digest
- if eating daily well eventually it will catch up

No
- because you should be eating lots of veggies with any meat so the enzymes from the plant matter can help breakdown the meat, making it easier to digest

so basically, in moderation and raw veggies with every meal

Obviously its a personal choice.

Containment where as farming, its a nurtured way amongst some farmers.
(Not into that now)

Wild and running free maybe its a sporting action.
Then to feed. (Sorry its just an action sport)

I live on a 20 acre farm and oneday the home kill guy came,(not my choice)(When I was with my ex)
2x cows were allocated, I went away blocking my ears from the gun shot.
But pulled my hands away from my ears too soon.

It was awful to hear it.

What got me as I knew, it would was "Rufus" The angus bull 1x month later that was in that paddock where it happened and he was so wrought so bellowing and crying, he knew.
The rest of cows his girls staid so silent.

It was terrifying.
I was so upset to hear his grief.!

My 16 girls 1x big boy an Angust "Rufus" including 3 calves are safe here now.

I do not buy red meat.
I do not eat red meat.

How can,people eat Veal,
If anyone saw such beautiful little calves and kill them, to eat? Penned of at such and early age.

But that's just the way it is, until you are in touch with them.
Many farmers will, and that's just the way it is.

I'm not a farmer.
That's about it.

Mind Set.
A way of life.

Yet to many who do, its prepacked with no connection.
I do not condemn you.
