I've started dabbling a wee bit in novels lately, but they kind of come from the author's personal experience..

À la Hemingway conversing

À la Hemingway

I never could get into Hemingway but enjoy anything about the paranormal especially if they're based on either the author's own experiences or the experiences of others. This one I just finished has both as well as a huge list of haunted places I'd love to explore. laugh

A joke:

The boss meets one of his workers at the parking space and the worker says

"you got a nice McLaren"!

then the boss tells him:

If you keep working that hard I might get another one in a couple of years!

The Red Sphinx-

No...I'm reading in English.
All the literature books from Alexander Dumas I read in English. My french is not that advanced, good only for basic conversation.

In reality, I also admire at people who catch it fast who Dumas was; that shows quality is not lost from this planet that we live in.

But I captured more from high school than I realised ~ my daughter recently studied French as part of her university course and I take great pleasure in responding to her with my limited French vocabulary conversing
