I suffer from depression.I joined here, just to talk to people, but couldn't even do that.I didn't know i suffered with it,until i went to the doctor,to see what was wrong with me.I couldn't even bring myself to leave the house for weeks.I met and spoke to a few people on here, and am very grateful for their time.I am currently on medication and trying to get to grips with myself.I wish all who chatted with me a great and happy life.Mabey someday i will be able to meet them in person and say THANK YOU.

There are a lot on here with depression or just looking for someone to chat to. Do what makes you feel comfortable to get better.

Good man and I'd say you're tough as nails
When your backs to the wall you can slide
Down it or come out fighting, you're a fighter

Many more people read this forum than post on it.

And lately all they see is infantile arguing and fighting.

Maybe those who constantly participate in it, might just think about the fact it makes the Irish forum look like a very unfriendly place to visit.

If you truly need to have these constant arguments, which I doubt. Take then offline and thrash them out.

Leave the forums for people who want to discuss issues with a bit of dignity.

recently discovered alternative radio talk show host gary null. his show goes out on prn.fm. regularly talks about mental health problems, potential causes and possible treatments. even though hes a little odd, i must say hes a very interesting guy and is very well educated in such matters. always has very interesting people on the show talking about mental health issues. may help some around here and educate us all
