Well there's a few comments to make on that. Firstly if God is perfect and he created the world and all that's in it, then it follows that it must be perfect in his eyes. And since we know that it's not perfect (or god is a cruel git), it's doubtless that he created it.
Bu secondly, and more importantly, your question assumes that there is a god. There's no evidence that that's' the case.

The world is like a video game created by God who's the Programmer. s a game it follows rules. The law of cause and effect is one. So as a whole, the world is perfect.
We are the game characters. Who those who believe, if we follow some rules, then we will be transferred to another better game where there is no more law of cause and effect. The others will end up somewhere else.
KenTn: A great many people feel the world is imperfect and God may have made a lot of mistakes.
Thank you for your comments.
If he , God made mistakes..then lets just call him an ordinary man like you and me..why the hec..adoring his name/acts which could be a mistake...?..it's another work of those preachers to create such uncompréhensible writings..and leave it to the thinkers to their own interpretations and creates chaos as to who are the brightest guys. .
God is perfect but the world and the people in it are not perfect. because Revelation 12:12 says "Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe unto the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Who then created the world? ...does it mean there is more than one creators..the poor have short time...the rich have much capacity to live longer ..or maybe God and the devil had already drawn their line of demarkations..lucky are those in the side of evils..for they enjoy the bounty of life...while the other side fill in churches emploring blessings and pity or even deliverance from the cruelty of one's fate..

'[/quoteChristianity is called the religion of pity. Pity stands opposed to the tonic emotions which heighten our vitality! It has a depressing effect. We are deprived of strength when we feel pity. That loss of strength which suffering as such inflict on life is still further increased and multiplied by pity. Pity makes suffering contagious. Under certain circumstances, it may engender a total loss of life and vitality out of all proportion to the magnitude of the cause…”

So those who are unfortunately born poor have the tendency to affix themselves as christians?...self pity is inherent to those who are denied of the easy living that some are enjoying.. or christianity is an opium of the deprived ones...

How can a Perfect God create something that is Imperfect,or turns Imperfect later on? Explain that Contradiction!
There is no God and certainly no devil , people need to take responsibility of their actions . This is heaven , if anyone expects heaven when they die , they are lost .
Perfection will be later on ,just not while ...WE...are on this earth , and it will be for every one not just a few ,
every thing and detail is going to plan , just some don't or wont see it and that does not change one miner part of the whole ,
We wont see it while we are here we may just see a tiny part just not in full, Thing is we don't need to worry at all .

So basically you are saying the creation of the world by God was a game, a toy he made, and when that toy has become broken he will discard it like a child discards a broken toy.
Hmm maybe, makes as much sense a a perfect god who created an imperfect world and then tells the living to make it perfect, or be damned for eternity.
Conrad73: Ecology as a social principle . . . condemns cities, culture, industry, technology, the intellect, and advocates men’s return to “nature,” to the state of grunting subanimals digging the soil with their bare hands.
