Usually male, as most women are high maintenance."
Although a way to know if a woman is high/low maintenance could have a correlation with the number of pair of shoes she has.
Most frequently relationships are based on many factors rather than to be sustained by love and respect and in that building a together-project, a life project.
Material things are just that, the relevance in a relationship is the commitment to that relationship and make it work.

That is a good explanation of high maintenance methinks, just don't agree with the last sentence there.

Hmmm... who woulda thought.. In my previous life I had a few dozen pair myself, now wear only a couple pair.. I'd rather be barefoot.. low maintenance..

Having good feet and good knees is just a bonus.
The low maintenance condition + easy going = boring

No maintenance... that means i can go a week without
bathing or shaving,or eating much, or even washing off
if i have a lot goin on, which is most of the time,
& taking care of business is first, but i clean up well without tryin.
its unfortunate that the backwoods
guns and horses sioux and comanche girls who
carry knives n' fishin line are runnin thin.
but then again i can still git
in enough trouble on my own...
i like to come in here to stay awake.
but then again workin all the time keeps me
young and is more fun than wasting away in a lounge chair
watchin the lame stream bozo box media bravo sierra.

I like my comforts but I'm not into throwing money out of the window. It's my own money anyway as I wouldn't want to be financially dependent on someone.
Something I would think describes high maintenance is a person's behaviour like being into drama, wanting to be the centre of attention all the time - no drama and hate being the centre of attention myself, wouldn't want a partner like that either.
