often the no- photo folks do not have the foggiest idea how to post a photo.....especially when using library computers........in these days of overpriced smart phones, there are people who have difficulty with digital gadgets.....it is not good to think that there are nefarious reasons behind a no-pic profile.....

Ccincy: I don't think that's always true in relation to posting a photo increases someones chances of getting a date.
No more do I think that just because people can obviously see what someone looks like in the real world increases their chances of getting a date.
From my experiences posting a photo makes big differences even if you say nothing in your profile.I have been some times so overwhelmed with numerous messages that I am taking brake without photo

That usually happens with attractive people, so can't blame you there.

I'm joining you whisper I was overwhelmed by messages from nynphomaniacs. C'est la vie
allthegoodnamest: Why are there so many people, especially on the forums without a picture profile? Are these people just butt ugly or are they not who they claim to be, or even worse, they don't want to be recognised because they are already in a relationship & looking for some extra fun? I'm sure they don't hide their face in the real world, so why do it here?

I'm sure if they can manage to enrol on a dating site, they can manage to put up a photo.

I've heard every excuse under the sun for not posting a photo. Some, so far fetched, they're almost laughable.. But at the end of the day, it's the individual's choice whether to post a photo but an honest answer would have been appreciated .. Thanks to all that participated.

I wear a brown paper bag on my head in real life, I fell liberated when I take it off in the forums
