Leaving EU. (82)

I am of 2 minds about this. I object to Super States, but I object to States overall. Democracy from what I feel I have observed, is a farce. There wasn't a referendum in the UK when it came to the Iraq war, was there? Loads of people on the ground were against this (I lived in England at the time), yet were completely ignored, and David Kelly died (and he should never be forgotten by us, may he rest in peace...)

However, I love the idea of people uniting and letting go of nationalism and borders in their hearts and minds, and I think many who wish for a united Europe, do so on those grounds. These are two different subjects for me - the ruling side of the State (small or super), and the need (how I feel) of people to overcome artificial division. To me it looks like the Brexit vote was won on the grounds of division of 'us, the people' above all else, and this is what I fear and take issue with. A vote to exit from being ruled by few, who care nothing for our well being - that I hail with all I am(!) - but the UK hasn't won that freedom. Naught will change in regards to this. The democratic farce will continue, and this is also the reason I view this referendum with great suspicion. Those who rule call the shots, they decide when we are allowed to cast votes and when not (aside from those stage play 'elections'), which means they offer us opportunity when it suits them.

Why did this referendum suit them?
What could the real agenda be behind this having come to vote?

That's the question I really am worried about...
