Somewhere interesting with lots to see and do. Experience the culture, try the food and customs, and interact with the local population.

Museums anyone?

I like a combination holiday

I am a total sun-worshipper, but also make sure I do lots of cultural trips, hill-walking, as well as eating and drinking wine

Love sun holidays, just to lounge by the pool, eat, drink and relax. It depends how long I'm away for, two weeks I prefer to squeeze in some sight seeing but for a week I'm happy to relax. In saying this I haven't been away in years laugh . My favourites were Turkey and Crete, would love to go to the Maldives, St. Tropez or St. Lucia smitten

Oh yeah, I forgot about the importance of experiencing culture by sampling the local beverages, the only time I ever drink cocktails. laugh

Eventhough i have been to some lovely places, and still want to see some more.

My favourite was a week up the west of Ireland,
around Commemeara, just sight seeing ,during the day, stopping of at a resturant for lunch, coming back to hotel and relax and shower and off out to dinner, and after,, a stroll around whatever town we were in
This is soo nice when in the right company, and i was smitten
