Try the Ritz Carlton Arts Hotel there..
It's a tall building in the Port Olimpic area...you can see it
as the plane is about 5 minutes from landing.
Nice beaches and restaurants around and a massive casino right beside the hotel. Good Japanese restaurant in the Casino.
A bargain at €400 a night. Only 3 or 4 rooms per floor with panoramic views, really modern, electric blinds etc. A tub of "smarties" on top of the minibar for some reason. Bad idea...
Had a smartie fight coming back to the room drunk at about 4am.
Brown stains on the sheets in the morning for the maid to find lol

It was the chocolate in the smarties...honestly laugh

Big budget needed alright Topkaz wow A couple of grand for a w'end should cover it. But sure u could win that in the casino dancing
Don't miss out on visiting the fresh food market on Las Ramblas if you're ever in Barcelona. La Boqueria....the largest market in Spain apparently. beer

You should go to the Cities in Andalucia, much nicer, cleaner, safer and cheaper for everything. Barcelona´s a cattle market in the summer, a big rip off and a dark city at night.

I agree, Jimmy

There are lots of transients in Barcelona, as well as pickpockets.

It is worth going there if you like the Gaudi architecture, but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise.

There are many, many nicer cities to visit.

Have you ever been out of your village or do you just pop over to the vicarage for a cup of tea and a choirboy?

Yes I did like Madrid need been to Barcelona but my sister has she loved it there but she was with crowd she. Went to art college with to visit art gallery etc ,they tried out the night clubs too ,,yes it's a very lively city alright she said ,,especially the barcelonian men whom kept approaching her even in shops trying to chat her up ,they loved her dark wavy hair .

Anyway dangers in every city ,.barcelona is more wilder and lively than the old city of Madrid which I loved .have beer visited. Barcelona .

I loved Athens would visit there again but maybe somewhere different next time ,

An island maybe

Arran islands lol.why not .
