seriously though, in many rural areas feral cats become vermin , huge populations of them - disease ridden, even rabid, destroying natural wildlife and doing nothing beneficial. Wild dog packs and even singles can exceed wolf packs in danger to humans, real killers from german shepherd and pit bull lines, abandoned and lousy breeding all play a role.
