there is no solution to this unfortunate reality. our society is too far gone.
when you have an open society such as ours, someone who is bent on killing is going to succeed. it's like taking candy from a baby.
whether homegrown or someone here from a foreign country, terrorism is here to stay.

I'm believing this was a terrorist attack. The first step to stop terrorist attacks like this would be to eradicate 'political correctness.' Then, freedom loving countries should support Muslim countries closest to the source of this insanity to put an end to it.
If POTUS Obama or others jump on the gun control bandwagon following this tragedy, well, we'll all know he hasn't learned a thing in his seven-year as POTUS.

It's obviously going to heck in a hand basket.It's been heading that way for some time to come and will continue to do so.
Our political figures really couldn't give a darn.
WE need stronger gun laws or enforce the ones which are already in the books.Lock the ones up who are breaking the rules for a long long time.
Do a lot more stricter monitoring people buying guns.

galrads: How does revising anything prevent a terrorist from doing something like this, or similar acts we've seen in Europe? This would help terrorist.
I am still shaking and very angry, my relatives called me before I can even turn the news on. These are events that defines how sick our system is, to let the White House be infiltrated by these animals.
What an incompetent and corrupted system we got, the very unit that is built to protect us is causing all these nonesense of allowing these criminals to be out again and again just to wreak havoc on us? What the hell is this about?

- Corruption of governments in all levels yet we are pushing an initiative to get a law that will prevent corruption.
- crime due to the drug cartels. In this regard there is not much we good people can do but to keep our children away from drugs.

The difference is that I do oppose corruption and with a civic group we are pushing an initiative to make a law to prevent corruption as I have said.
And if you think that your beautiful country is corruption free, well good for you.

I beg to disagree Life. WE are all for peace. We are for peace, specifically my country and you are right, we can't be in the same page. If we are for peace, please explain to me the effect of your drug lords that are ravaging your beautiful country. Your peace as a response, is it working?

My country is one of the most corrupt in the world.
I am an active member of a civic group pushing an initiative that later will become law to regulate the activities of the people, including politicians.
What are you doing to achieve peace?
About the drug lords, do you think that the illegal trading of 100 billion USA dollar per year of drugs in your beautiful country is done with out any "agreement" with some beautiful American people in your beautiful country? (I would like an answer to that please).
Am I responsible for the action of Mexican drug criminals?
Are you responsible for your beautiful country's foreign policies?
The difference is that I do oppose my country's corruption and I am doing what I can to prevent it and I do oppose the illegal drug trading, and this last one there is not much I can do to prevent it.
At the gov level:
the illegal drug trading is a 2 ways responsibility.
Immigration problems is a 2 ways responsibility.
At a personal level:
