fingeroffudge: I have noticed people commenting on the veracity of the site and I can clearly say that most of the female profiles in each country are not logging onto the site for more than a month. I am not sure if these people really exist, maybe they are used to keep up the statistics, or they have lost interest, but, my replies have consisted of women asking for an email addresses and hints indicate they are scammers.
My intention is to highlight this issue and not imply anything negative towards the site, but scammers are easy to deal with, finding a way to receive a sincere reply from ladies you would expect a response another.

If people don't delete their profiles, then they are still officially members.
If they haven't logged on for at least a month, I would consider them dormant members.

Also if someone logs in everyday or frequently that does exclude him/her from being a scammer neither.

I guess a smaller country like Ireland or a more populated country like America, there may be a chance. Here, there is an older man who lives an hours drive away, and an obese black christian woman about 4 hours drive away. But you gotta be in it to win it.

It used to be good for Ireland when I joined first. There was a very active membership. Now..meh.
But I do agree, Oz is a different kettle of fish, especially if you live outside the big urban centres.

I cant comment on this site as I havent been here that long, but chat rooms in general seemed much better a decade ago. I joined a chatroom some months ago, but it didnt hold my interest for very long. I think the biggest weakness is the way they're moderated, usually by somebody who's posting online all the time, and it becomes their empire. And the conversation mainly consists of people saying hello or goodbye, and very insular.

Some time ago l looked at how many people were available in some different countries, there were very few and in fact the countries that you would think were more active had only in some cases 18 people that were "online over a month" and that is in a whole country, this is not a 'dating' website and never has been l think, there are still many here making new threads(if it can be said in that way) and also too many making religious blogs but l feel that new people coming do not stay because of that, they do not want the type of stuff that goes on here. Like the Indian idiot that started a new thread with his private advert this morning, he thinks that he will crack it with that one post and all the girls will flock to him, only about 15 will see his post and 100% of them will be uninterested in his profile.
