Every pub is an utterly strange and totally frightening place for me 
I don't drink alcohol, never have, and gatherings of people give me the creeps, though am trying to abandon my utterly reclusive stance a bit, every now and then going to a pub which has Irish life music on certain days.
Yet, despite it having a very nice crowd there and little alcohol consumption - still a totally strange and utterly frightening place (as any pub is :P)
