Been gone for 30 or more days. Have been busy getting my House and Salon all in order and sorting through all the things that can build up in the attic over the years. lol. But just wanted to say "Hi" to a lot of friends I have not seen in while. ( if still here )

Hey "E", here is one from Heathens ;-}
"Heathen"
Steel on the skyline Sky made of glass Made for a real world All things must pass Oo-o Waiting for something Looking for someone Is there no reason? Have I stared too long? Oo-o Oo-o You say you'll leave me And when the sun is low And the rays high I can see it now I can feel it die Oo-o Oo-o

Ah, you are a Dear Love Sweet Berry. Glad you remember! still that one brings me to tears or if in public I get those chills. lol...crazy how music can trigger different memories and even feelings imprinted in the mind.
This one is kind of meditative for me....and also seems to re-energize me somehow. You probably know it.

Oh, yes....I know that one well...
One of my favs from Bowie....I'm thinkin you might know this...lol

Ah yes! I have admored the "late" Mr. Bowie since very young. (obviously) but I always am happy to see that others enjoy his artwork.
another one I like >
(by the way as "Bowie" often hired musicians to play with him and his name was the main "event" it seems like so many of the great musicians are not always mentioned. For instance the bass Player here has a fantastic voice and has been with him..Was" with him for a lot of songs.)
Ok, So this next one is also Hero's..LOL..this is too funny. what the heck eh? Ok, so this one I think it even the same performance but he stops and talks a bit before the song. It is just interesting because I think he became so comfortable with his audience over so many years that they were literally just like people we would meet up close the way he seems anyway...
just listen to the first part..it is pretty funny indeed. and he is a real person after all with a damn good sense of humour...and maybe even a bit elated. lol ;-}

The man who defined cool in music....certainly had that connection with his audience and a "presence" about him.
I wasn't a huge Bowie fan of his, growing up....but can appreciate it more now....the raw talent of his music, in comparison to some of today's noise. I say "some"....because it's not ALL bad.
Please tell me, (it has been so long), were you there in Dublin at the CS Meet so many years back when I was visiting? Really had a great time! Got a bit snockered as well. lol. Never a hangover, not once....even when Peter and I (not on cs) polished off a Liter of Vodka and of course "sampled" the wine each time we brought a new bottle for the lovely ladies! LOL.

Nah I missed it mate. I was away at the time.
Been to a good few since, but that was one I regretted not going to. Was lucky enough to meet Trish and Bodeling when I was in the UK and of course a lot of the Irish members like Nuala (Noodles). Also Oslo came to a cpl meets in Dublin after, nice lady.
Good times Dragos, the forums were hopping back then.

Thank you for posting.
It is always a pleasure to chat with you Berry. Yes, I think many people seemed to admire him or appreciate his music at different points of his timeline. Since he was older than myself I only heard certain songs in my earlier years but as time went on I was very impressed with his ability to move into different types of music and styles. I think that "Chameleon" side of him I very much related too. Will always miss that guy.

Yes, I sat with Trish and we had a few drinks. That was when I had the pretty long dark Hair and was always wearing the 10 kilo long leather jacket...I remember a stranger asking Trish if I was "Gene Simmoms" from Kiss. Of course she had no idea who that was but we had a great laugh about it. Oslo was there and so was Dandelion and so many more. Wow, that was a fun time indeed. And of Course Dear "Lola", the reason I went to Ireland in the first place. Can't remember if the meet was the first or second visits but I know it was one of them. I know there are still a bunch of pics on a get together thread from way back. Yes! doing well, hope you are as well.
