flaxmeadow: I have yet to define love.
It may be the substance that fills novels and magazines. It may generate fortunes on speculation about it. Yet...
I can define loyalty, and care and lust and everything tied tenuously to it. Yet... I cannot define love.
So the question is: does love matter when choosing a soulmate?
Perhaps because love is such an ephemeral thing, of course it is built within our survival system to love, it is a natural emotion, but perhaps the most mysterious of all the emotions, yes you can find a soul partner even over cyberspace although some deny this so never do.
Love never comes first. first impressions do, opinions do, but never love. Love is a qualification and a verb at the same time. I have not loved because I have opened a car door to let you out. I love you when it matters to me that the a closed car door represents difficulty to you.
Choose a soul mate???. In other words you put on parade 10 ladies, you look at them from top to bottom.you shoot questions to them, and in the end you going to one one of them, and say."""You are for me.""". And you might get a reply from her."""F...ck off.""".

First define what love for you is. Second there are no such thing as "soulmate".
You have two options in life: to live or to vegetate. If you choose to live, as most people do, chances are it'll be a much more enjoyable life, and understand love.
Love is not about “defining it”!... love is about sharing who you are with someone else, without fear of rejection. Love is enjoy someone else's happiness, understand and support their griefs, and enjoy their successes. Love eases the sense of loneliness - there is more to love than just mating.
if you “cannot define love”, you are missing life. try to live.

The banal preconditions of love, whether that's being the right shape or holding down a job, don't matter to soulmates. Love is hard to actively seek out and soulmates are impossible to find when looking.
In my definition soulmates are love and then some. Love is life and soulmates are more than life.
I somehow feel that the love of your life and your soulmate are never the same person. And not just that but I think that a soulmate could be only a person you can not be with physically...

Maybe you just haven't met the right man yet? When you do, you'll know.
Love is loyalty, love is kind , love is respect, love is gentle, love is enduring, love thinks on the things of others, love is patience, think of a tree with love being the root and the beautiful attributes are the branches.
