A failed missile launch by North Korea has exploded just hours before US Vice President

Shin In-kyun, President of Korea Defense Network a civic group specializing in military affairs, told NBC News that Sinpo is North Korea's submarine port and the failed missile was likely a submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM).

"SLBMs are more threatening than any other type of missile of the same range because it can evade radar detection, including the THAAD," Shin said, referring to the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense anti-missile system provided to South Korea by the U.S. "If North Korea complete building 3,000-ton submarine, they can then attack Guam, Hawaii and even Alaska with an SLBM."

South Korea's National Security Council was set to convene Sunday morning local time (8:30 p.m. ET) "to examine the security situation regarding the missile launch by North Korea," a South Korean presidential spokesperson told NBC

Russia has reportedly moved weapons towards Vladivostok, just eight miles from the border with North Korea.

The city is within striking distance of Kim Jong-un’s secretive state.

Although unconfirmed by the Russian government, the movement of tanks and missiles was spotted by terrified people living in the border city and posted on social media.

According to reports, the military convoy caught on camera included eight surface-to-air missiles, all part of Russian Air Defence.

Vietnam war was put together at the time of the formation of S.E.A.T.O by America and signed up to by Australia in 1954, a much longer war that lasted into 1975, more than 5 million died.

America then set in motion destabilization of the Middle East in1991 millions have already died in that newer war already. Ronald Regan proclaimed a new American New World Order in 1984, and Bush started destabilizing the Middle East in 1991.

The United States Gold Reserve Act of January 30, 1934 required that all gold and gold certificates held by the Federal Reserve be surrendered and vested in the sole title of the United States Department of the Treasury.
The Gold Reserve Act outlawed most private possession of gold, forcing individuals to sell it to the Treasury, after which it was stored in United States Bullion Depository at Fort Knox and other locations. The act also changed the nominal price of gold from $20.67 per troy ounce to $35. This price change incentivized foreign investors to export their gold to the United States, while simultaneously devaluing the U.S. dollar in an attempt to spark inflation. The increase in gold reserves due to the price change as well as the confiscation clause resulted in a large accumulation of gold in the Federal Reserve and U.S. Treasury. The increase in the money supply lowered real interest rates, which increased investment in durable goods.

A year earlier, in 1933, Executive Order 6102 had made it a criminal offence for U.S. citizens to own or trade gold anywhere in the world, with exceptions for some jewellery and collector's coins.

The Great Depression was the worst economic downturn in the history of the Western industrialized world. It began after the stock market crash of October 1929, which sent Wall Street into a panic and wiped out millions of investors. Over the next several years, consumer spending and investment dropped, causing steep declines in industrial output and employment as failing companies laid off workers. By 1933, when the Great Depression reached its lowest point, some 15 million Americans were unemployed and nearly half the country’s banks had failed. The measures enacted by President Franklin D. Roosevelt helped lessen the effects of the Great Depression, but the economy would not fully recover until 1939, when World War II reinvigorated American industry.
The economy recovered from the Depression only with the advent of World War II, which pushed demand for goods and services to the limit of its capacity.

After World War II, the Allies partitioned the defeated Germany into a Soviet-occupied zone, an American-occupied zone, a British-occupied zone and a French-occupied zone. Berlin, the German capital city, was located deep in the Soviet zone.

Puerto Rico sought what is essentially bankruptcy relief in federal court on Wednesday, the first time in history that an American state or territory had taken the extraordinary measure.

The action sent Puerto Rico, whose approximately $123 billion in debt and pension obligations far exceeds the $18 billion bankruptcy filed by Detroit in 2013, to uncharted ground.

The total includes about $74 billion in bond debt and $49 million in unfunded pension obligations.

Last week President Trump suddenly added fuel to those fires, saying on Twitter that there should be no “bailout” for Puerto Rico.

The coming court proceedings will not be formally called a bankruptcy, since Puerto Rico remains legally barred from using Chapter 9, the bankruptcy route normally taken by insolvent local governments. Instead, Mr. Rosselló petitioned for relief under Title III of the Promesa law, which contains certain Chapter 9 bankruptcy provisions but also recognizes that, unlike the cities and counties that use Chapter 9, Puerto Rico is not part of any state and must in some ways be treated as a sovereign.

India And Japan Join Forces To Counter China And Build Their Own New Silk Road

India and Japan are at the forefront of this movement, devising a mutual vision which could be labeled the ‘other’ New Silk Road.

Just days after Xi Jinping’s epic Belt and Road Forum in May, India’s Prime Minister Modi unveiled a vision to counter the international ambitions of China at a meeting of the African Development Bank (AfDB) in Gujarat.

India, Russia, and Iran are busy at work putting together the North-South Transport Corridor, a multimodal route that goes from the west coast of India all the way to St.Petersburg, Russia.

The Belt and Road could help Nepal reduce its economic dependence on India.

Thanks to a recently signed memorandum of understanding between Nepal and China, Beijing’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has been discussed as a possible alternative gateway for Nepali access to China, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe. Nepal, so far connected to world trade through the southern route and India, has not been able to fully utilize its potential due to infrastructural clogs across the border, including lack of road, rail, and port facilities.

And tonight Trump has something to say about North Korea in the United Nations

United Nations acted with bias and in breach of its own charter when it took sides with the US and deployed in 1950. It seems out of order for United Nations to mediate in dispute with North Korea because:

League of Nations, the forerunner of the United Nations was established in 1919 “to promote international cooperation and to achieve peace and security.” However, after failing to prevent the Second World War, the League of Nations was disbanded. ... The UN came into existence on 24 October 1945, in order to prevent another such conflict. Tonight there is a possibility world could be driven by flunky's using UN platform to start WW3. Clearly because UN in first instance acted against NK Russia and China it cannot be said to be impartial promoting peace and security by starting WW3.

The name "United Nations", was coined by United States President Franklin D. Roosevelt was first used in the Declaration by United Nations of 1 January 1942, during the Second World War, when representatives of 26 nations pledged their Governments to continue fighting together against the Axis Powers. Its purpose was to insure there wouldn't be another World War.

However the United Nations Forces in the Korean War. Following an invasion of South Korea by North Korea, the then twenty-one member nations of the United Nations (UN) committed themselves to support South Korea which was not then even a member nation of the UN. A clear bias and combatant in the ensuring conflict.

June 25, 1950, the Korean War began when North Korea, supported by the Soviet Union and China, invaded South Korea. Kim II Sung went to see Mao Tse Tung, the leader of China, to get his support.
The trigger for the war was when, in 1950, Syngman Rhee boasted that he was going to attack North Korea. It was a good enough excuse – the North Koreans invaded South Korea, Syngman Rhee was a South Korean politician, Syngman Rhee was South Korea’s first president in 1948.Dr. Syngman Rhee (1875–1965) was an American-educated Korean exile who returned to his country to become the first President of South Korea in 1948.

Lets all hope something positive some how comes out of the corrupt United Nation talk feast tonight, lets hope Donald J Trump has enough grey matter in his attic to offer aid instead of war to NKdoh

From Pakistan interesting story: -
The new bloc may comprise Russia, China, India, Brazil, South Africa, Pakistan, Iran, the Central Asian States, Afghanistan, Syria, Turkey, Cuba, Venezuela, Indonesia, Malaysia and Iraq. A number of other states may also join it. The question is: will such a bloc work? The answer is in the affirmative. The bloc has the two largest markets of the world – India and China. Militarily, it will have four nuclear states – Pakistan, India, China and Russia. And the Chinese army is the largest in the world while India, Pakistan, Russia, Turkey and Iran are also militarily powerful states. Some of the largest countries by territory are also part of this proposed new bloc. The states of this new bloc are also rich in natural resources.

We are facing increased global disorder characterized by decline in the long standing rules based international order
creating a security environment more complex and volatile than any we have experienced in recent memory

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said Friday that America is facing "growing threats" from China and Russia, and warned that the US military's advantages have eroded in recent years.
"We face growing threats from revisionist powers as different as China and Russia, nations that seek to create a world consistent with their authoritarian models," Mattis said.

"Our military is still strong, yet our competitive edge has eroded in every domain of warfare - air, land, sea, space and cyberspace - and is continually eroding," he added.

Republican Senator John McCain, who chairs the powerful Senate Armed Services Committee that helps oversee the Pentagon, welcomed Mattis's strategy for getting "the big decisions right."

"A new era of great power competition has emerged, and this strategy prioritizes that reality," he said in a statement.

On Friday, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis outlined a new national defense strategy. Moving beyond the rambling, soft-power utopianism of the Obama administration's defense strategies, Mattis declared that "we are emerging from a period of strategic atrophy" and must "pursue urgent change at significant scale."

The new strategy is an excellent one: precise, intellectually robust and centered in the single-minded pursuit of greater lethality. Yet Mattis' was no warmonger's speech.

"We expect European allies to fulfill their commitments to increase defense and modernization spending to bolster the alliance in face of our shared security concerns." To this end, Mattis wants U.S. allies to embrace greater defense spending and modernization commitments (the modernization reference refers to the U.S. concern that foreign allies don't simply inflate their defense budgets with wasteful spending on ever-more personnel).

That said, this new strategy also puts meat on the bones of warfighting preparedness.

Recognizing a rising China's 1930s style imperialism in the South and East China Seas, Mattis called for strengthening U.S. capability sharing with Indo-Pacific partners (think Australia, India, and Japan as the three keys here). And linking Russia to China's threat complexion; describing the two nations as "revisionist powers", the strategy describes the revisionists' intent to gain "veto authority over other nations' economic, diplomatic, and security decisions." That is unacceptable, Mattis says, because it fundamentally undercuts the foundation of U.S.-led democratic order.
