Nice to spend the day with my daughter and her husband and the little girl about to make her appearance in this world. Some things are looking up for me
On the down side, my son has not bothered to contact me....I did call but no answer. Okay, I did plan on driving the 900kms to see him and his family today but the Melbourne hot weather meant I was not feeling the best today.
Plan on doing the drive tomorrow.

Linda Burney's son has died at age 33.
For those of us who struggle and grieve for our loved one's lost potential and happiness through their life's battle with mental illness, I can't imagine what the grief must be like once they are gone.
I can only say rest in peace to her much-loved child and may she find strength in the knowledge that she gave him all her love and support and that's all we can do.

Well I didn't intend to restrict my thoughts to any gender ~ grief doesn't either.
I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, some things stay in our gut and it's difficult to move forward.
We just need to keep them in our hearts and carry on, as they would have wished.
