Have you heard the usages of the word Alt-right in the news reportings lately? Well, in case you don't know what all this means let me help you out.

Alt-right means ALTERNATIVE RIGHT
The alt-right
is a segment of right-wing ideologies presented as an alternative to mainstream conservatism in the United States. It has been described as a movement unified by support for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, as well as by opposition to multiculturalism and immigration.

The alt-right has no official ideology, although various sources have said that it is associated with white nationalism, white supremacism,antisemitism,right-wing populism, nativism, and the neoreactionary movement.

The alt-right has been said to be a largely online movement with Internet memes widely used to advance or express its beliefs, often on websites such as 4chan.

Etymology
In November 2008, Paul Gottfried addressed the H. L. Mencken Club about what he called "the alternative right". In 2009, two more posts at Taki's Magazine, by Patrick J. Ford and Jack Hunter, further discussed the alternative right. The term's modern usage, however, is most commonly attributed to white nationalist and self-described "identitarian" Richard B. Spencer, president of the National Policy Institute and founder of Alternative Right.

Beliefs
The alt-right{/b] has no official ideology. The Associated Press stated that there is "no one way to define its ideology" and the BBC has called it an "amorphous movement". The alt-right has been said to include elements of white nationalism, white supremacism, antisemitism, right-wing populism nativism, and the neoreactionary movement.

Jeet Heer of The New Republic identified the alt-right as having ideological origins among paleoconservatives, particularly with respect to restricting immigration and supporting a more openly nationalistic foreign policy. Newsday columnist Cathy Young also noted the alt-right's strong opposition to both legal and illegal immigration and its hard-line stance on the European migrant crisis. Robert Tracinski of The Federalist has written that the alt-right opposes miscegenation and advocates collectivism and tribalism. Nicole Hemmer stated on NPR that political correctness is seen by the alt-right as "the greatest threat to their liberty."

Commonalities shared across the loosely-defined alt-right include disdain for mainstream politics and support for Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.

Yes I have heard of the term Alt-R , your media is casting about trying to find a name for the renewal of the conservative political supporters . Bit of a larf seeing that anti-Semitic groups are following Trump with his family connection's .I follow an Israeli news site with a stroppy forum and I cannot think of any regular contributors who live in Israel who don't think Trumpy is the cats whiskers . One group that is overlooked , in your post , who are supporting Trump is the left who look at Clinton in disgust .They are the same ones who supported Sanders , at the left of the left , your pinko lefty commies . How on earth can they be labelled the ALT-R ??

Most of them take the libertarian economics of Jewish intellectuals(Mises, Rothbard)and combine it with a virulent strain of anti-semitism. It's a treat to watch.

the deep seated hatred of any kind of government is a cornerstone of White Supremacists as well as libertarian economics. David Duke is on record wholeheartedly supporting Trump.

Every nationalist is to some extent a statist and that's where the mental gymnastics step in for the alt-right.

The problem for the modern left is that it has no answer to this challenge. Like the populist right the alt-right is raising real issues like the failure of neoliberalism, multiculturalism and open borders but they're taking it in a wrong - and I mean disastrously wrong - direction.

What needs to happen is the collapse of mainstream politics as we know them. So long as both sides of mainstream politics stand for diversity and inequality on principle then you should expect nothing but reaction. So long as social justice is defined as a black female lawyer getting paid 1.6 million dollars the same as the white male lawyer, and the female employee of walmart getting paid $10 an hour no different to the man then you're asking to get hung. Trump and the alt-right are living monuments to the consequences of Let Them Eat Diversity.

We have the legal system of the bourgeoisie which ensures that the wealthy are treated favourably regardless of gender and race and the poor are treated equally dismally - with a slight preference for non-whites - regardless of gender and race. This is what we unblinkingly describe as equal opportunities.

What we don't know need any more of this is lawyers, legislation and litigation. We need to give the working class real power to climb the ladder and narrow the gaps in society and you do this through private sector trade unions, tight borders and homogeneous communities, and an economic protectionism which protects not only white collar professionals from the effects of mass immigration, but the people who work in factories and perform trades for a living.

The plumber needs to be no less protected from the consequences of modern liberalism than the liberal teacher or doctor whose house prices and professional guilds already do for him and his wealthy own exactly what Trump wants to do for the American poor. The reason why the haves and have yachts hate Trump and his have nots is because Trump may put the American poor and the American rich on the same starting line running the same distance. Basically they hate Trump for the same reason why drug cheats hate anti-doping rules.

free trade and immigration did not destroy the middle class doh

supply side, trickle down economics, corporations that whine about taxes when they get so many tax breaks they get reverse taxes (corporate welfare),
tax welfare for the super rich, thats what ruined us.

do you really think losing jobs as share croppers, cleaning toilets, and digging ditches did it?

protecting jobs when we cant compete doesnt work. look at the auto industry in the 70s. lazy arrogant General Motors and Unions that paid ridiculous salaries led to economic catastrophe in Detroit and nearly destryed our auto industry.
