I was listening to this young woman on the radio yesterday at work.
Very inspiring....
Melbourne teenager Grace Halphen had a tough time transitioning to high school – she struggled to make friends and fit in. When she realised this was a common experience, she wondered why she’d felt so alone. When she was 13, she embarked on a project to contact all the public figures she admires, and asked them to provide advice to help teenagers navigate the inevitable ups and downs of adolescence.
In Letter to my Teenage Self, 50 prominent Australians write heartfelt letters to their younger selves, passing on the wisdom they wish they’d had at the time. From learning to laugh at yourself (Adam Gilchrist), realising that the qualities that make you stand out are the ones that makes you SO RAD (Missy Higgins), not letting the negative things that happen shape who you become (Guy Sebastian), practising gratitude (Nathan Buckley), and the reassurance that you’ll get over anger about people treating you badly because you’ll get better at treating yourself well (Judith Lucy), Letter to my Teenage Self provides inspiration and reassurance for parents and teenagers alike.
I've been travelling around since the tender age of 16Long time no hear BTW...was reading up on your ark threadDo you need an animal whisperer???.......
I'm really good at it
Why not, you would be most welcome we already have a whispers night club Just give your name to Vinney he's my head of security
Some of the animals might be a bit hard of hearing so you might have to whisper a bit louder.

Grace Halphen is one very smart cookie...great thread topic Lookin.
I would write, travel, explore opportunities and don't get hitched until you're well into your 20's or even 30's.

What would you write to your teenage self
I would remind my teenage self that its okay to be different. Our need to conform and be a part of something squashes individuality. You may as well be you as everyone else is taken.
Great thread
Also forget about chasing women and knuckle down and train hard cause you were talented
Do your own thing, sometime you'll find people with the same wavelength and they mightn't be in the same schoolclass as you, but you'll meet them later in life.
Make sure you're doing a qualification that is internationally recognised.

You were right about the coming recession, you were right about the immigrants, and by golly you were right about leaving the EU. You're a visionary genius and most of what you think will happen, does happen.
I'd tell my teenage self to dump that guy I was so smitten with. Nobody else gave me any advice. To the old boy friend that watched me drive off with him . . . . I'm so sorry.
