SuzyQsBread: Oh yes...i remember now both of my old user names...the first one back in 2006 was Lightning and then the 2nd time around back in 2008-2009 i was PrettyFluffy I think Lord, my memory is going fast but I am back because none of mine worked out...in 2006 i hooked up with MBCasey but he turned out to be just a wee bit unbalanced to say the least and then back in 2009 i met someone on here (he never came into the forums), we actually got engaged, but then found out he had at least 2 other GF he was playing around with as well But, found out, nipped that in the bud, took some time off (about 4 yrs or so after) and well, here i am, back again 3rd time's the charm, right?
I remember MB, Ken was it
Really nice guy on the forums and always respectful and funny.
He used to hide his profile every so often when he wasn't well and made no secret of the fact that he had issues, if I remember correctly.
Lovely guy though and sorry it didn't work out for you.

2intrigued: Yep, I remember when the forums were rockin' and full of good cheer and pleasant banter. Unfortunately, most of that has been missing for quite some time now and I'm not sure it'll ever be like that again. Lots of great people have either left for various reasons or don't feel too inspired to post anymore.

People left, moved on, or just got tired of it all, and some have passed away. I suspect there are quite a few that still have a peek at the forums and maybe even have profiles, just don't bother logging in. I haven't deleted myself yet, but some day I will, or maybe I'll die first.

When I joined the forums almost five years ago it was crazy, loud, nasty, full of trolls...still interesting though...
It has always surprised me how the people who complain the most about the political threads are so persistent in posting about politics on ANY other thread...

I was on here, I think it was around 2010-2011 I'm not sure when really but it was really fun. The forums were so fast moving, it was hard to type fast enough, and I'm a fast typist!
I left and didn't look in for a long time, and just a few weeks ago I decided to join again, with a new name. Its just not the same though, the days of hopping between threads in fits of giggles are gone. I was a bit disappointed to find that out, but I suppose its only to be expected. Things are bound to change.
I was also pleasantly surprised to find that some of the same people are here
Does anyone remember Sunnydaze? That was me
