It sounds to me like Paganist celebration
CuddlingSoul: For many reasons. Canada, as well as the U.S. give thanks for the right to vote. Thanksgiving in America, is near the end of November, and the election-day voting for president is in the first week of November. And that's why we have elections in November, so everyone can pick their turkey before Thanksgiving.

Celebrating Christmas,Easter,New Year,or Saints days in the Cristian religion, has a religious meaning.
Celebrating "harvest" among other things on Thanksgiving Day,
it looks Paganistic to me.

I thought Thanksgiving was for a good harvest, not good elections

If it were, US Thanksgiving would be cancelled this year laugh

YouMeUs: Hiya Lil

Sorry about the confusion.
To get the Canada flag, you must type everything in.
So...
:canada : <---Notice how one colon is separated from everything else?
That's to show you what to type, but that space between :canada and : has to be removed before it will show the emote. So type everything together without any spaces, you should see your flag.
Hope that helps.

canada........Hey I did it grin Thanks YouMeUs!

Hope your feeling better these days bouquet
