I am quite interested into seeing if it will get used more and how it will get used. 
I think (I hope) that having a USA Forum may bring more people in that possibly didn't get involved in the "Forums" and very possibly may contribute to some more comradery and maybe even less friction.

That would be nice. I to hope more will get involved in the forums now. It would be nice to hear different ideas and what is going on in different areas of our country. The news is not the most reliable source anymore.

Agreed! and I think that even if for grouping the states into one forum instead of each separate that we will see a very significant difference apart from whatever other updates were made to the site. As for the "news"....it is very "skewed" in certain directions and the things we never even hear about or the "good" things we probably would be happy to know about go by the wayside. I have a very good feeling about this change here for sure.

Who knows what it might bring. But so nice to be given the opportunity to watch this in the ground stages. And hoping for the best for it. I am heading out for a few hours. Hope all is well your way ;-}

And the really good thing about the new makeover is...it's throwing the scammers off for a while!

I'm also glad that we have our own forums. I think we will probably make friends with many folks in other states.
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd, I think it will be a friendly forums, like the International Forums was many years ago. We just need to keep our boots on so we can kick the troublemakers out ... kaboom !!

yes! Big thanks to the "Mods". I was also thinking that maybe....just possibly it will also motivate some if not more to have some very nice "CS Get Togethers" ! You know, where people travel maybe a little further than they might normally just to meet others face to face. I can say first hand that while in Ireland that I went to one "CS Get Together" and it was a very memorable event. I also know that at least back then they were having the Get Togethers quite often in different places in Ireland, Scotland and so on.
I am in Oregon, but for one I would not be against going to a place like Vegas if it looked like it was going to be a really good turn out. We had one in Portland Oregon years ago but though there was some attendance it just was not anything like what I experienced in Ireland. I think that for sure it could be all that and much more. Maybe as time passes and depending how much interaction of others here in the states contribute it could happen. I would not be surprised if even our loverly neighbors both north and south (Canada and Mexico) would attend and hopefully a few more adventurous members from overseas would be very welcome of course!

I was thinking get togethers would be nice. I think I am going to check in my area of Florida and see if I can tell how many active profiles there are. If there is enough maybe we get something going here. I do know for myself just to take a trip to somewhere like Vegas I have to have plenty of notice. I work a very demanding job.
