Ah yes, but is she miss right? It's only a short hop (2000km) across the Nullarbor to find out. (In my case 4000km!) That's the problem, anyone who is half way close to being a match is on the other side of the country or worse, the other side of the world! I'm not about to start a family, what's the point?
50/50 odds we're the one that gets sick first an the other person sticks around?
Every year that goes by, brings less opportunity for shared experience, before the lights begin to dim and it's just a hand to hold as we wander off into the night. I don't know, maybe that will feel more like a reason the closer it gets.
