I congratulate our newly president elect Mr. Trump. Finally, there comes the right chavalier to rescue us from going down into mud deaper and deaper. I wish him long and healthy years and much success during his office years and happiness to us all. Vive la U.S.A.!

I hope so too. Trump has a good shot at making things better. Making USA great again can be questioned as to when was it great but if I am correct.. Mr Trump is Forthright and deserves a chance to make North America Great and work with the rest of the world.
MnanahEireann: Puzzled non american here......did anyone think to ask Drumf during the campaign what he meant by that slogan "Make America Great Again"? I think before making him President you should have asked that question. What is it that made America great? When was America great and when did it stop being great?
I completely agree. How is "Greatness" defined for Trump supporters?
Won't happen. Just a look at his cabinet picks so far will tell you that it will be just more of the same. Only difference is that it will be the conservative establishment.
sps092000: BUILD THE WALL!
I can see this happening. At some level. But it seems it will be mostly an extension of fences. Along with a strengthening of the border patrol. Funny thing here is that the border patrol have positions allocated for 21,000 people. They can't even fill this amount now. I still don't see how this actually changes in America been Great though. You might want to explain that one....
sps092000: REPEAL OBAMADON'TCARE!
Won't be happening. It started out as "Repeal". Then it became "Repeal and Replace". Now it is basically "Reform".......

Any more slogans??
Draining the swamp has already started. The VP elect already dumped a lot of lobbyists off the gravy train. Steve Bannon is NOT "more of the same". Nor is Gen Mattis. Nor is Jeff Sessions. Get a clue and stop reading liberal propaganda.
Of course in some places a fence might be more feasible than a wall. What's your point? Trump isn't backtracking on any of this. The wall will be built and it will be harder for ILLEGAL immigrants to get into our country.
ObamaDon't Care will be repealed as much as possible. If Trump decides to keep parts of it I'm sure it will be because they make some sense although the ACA is a disaster. ie pre-existing conditions and allowing children up to 26 to stay under parents policy aren't bad things to keep.
Is your lame argument that if EVEYRTHING he says doesn't come true he backtracked on things? I got news for you it happens to ALL Presidents either because they decided not to do something or they couldn't. I believe he is going to at least try to do everything he said he would. He will be a President for the people.

Jesus is the only King on earth. He will fire Trump in his first 120 days as Potus.

This is nonsense. It just highlights your lack of ability to grasp what happens at the intersection of the private and public spheres. I will explain. Lobbying, in and of itself, is not necessarily bad. In fact, it is a central part of a democratic system in that it allows different groupings in society, whether that is business or civil society interest, to interact with government. However, the issue with lobbying falls on issues around transparency and power i.e. who has access, how does this affect policy and whether this access is skewed. Also, outside of Steve Bannon, all the appointments so far are establishment. You might want to not believe this, but they are.

I thought my point was pretty clear. However, if you missed it, I will address it again. You said that Trump will build a wall. Generally, I agreed with this. However, I did question you on how this makes "America Great Again." You might want to address this.

You are just repeating what I said here. Initially, you said he would repeal it. I said he would reform it. Now you are saying he will reform it. Thanks for clearing that up....

No. I am saying that he is already backtracking on things. And I am pointing out why. And I am saying that you will find that Trump will backtrack on quite a lot of things. Simply because they are not feasible. I think you will find from this exchange that it is your argument that is lame....

Clearly everything you said is just your opinion about a country you don't even live in. I'm glad you think you can predict the future. He isn't even in office yet and already you're trying to denigrate what he is trying to do. No need to talk to you anymore about this. You have no clue.

Can you be more specific on where you think he's back peddling .Obama care attracted just that comment from the media , what I saw in pre election comments from Trump that he was going to change bits of it , specifically pre existing conditions now of course post election the same media is claiming that his current plans are different ignoring his pre election comment on the matter . Rather than you pointing to a media commentator saying he's backtracking are there speeches or news clips with Trump saying he changing something . Personally I think his wall is daft and hope he does dump it .
