i was concerned when i looked out back door and saw bellowing plum smoke raising over the hill. Was actually quite a long way away, rang a mate sitting in fire tower to find what the "F", the dog in grass pictures were taken here this morning the others posted above. Yeah they burnt couple of logging coupes all the wasted wood they never recovered.

bloody forestry is run by a bunch academic clowns, looks like they got away with those two fires, but believe me the forest is as dry as a spinsters wave

Forestry burnt out a lot of their pine around Nelson last year , wouldn't knock the fella's off at lunchtime , gota keep them logs comin ha dum sods try logging black stumps . Burnt other owned forests as well . Comment made while every body's choking on smoke about the wisdom of having men working in dry forest , matched by the rubbish running the show " now is not the time for recriminations ". And once the dust dies rotten curs slip from the limelight along with the bill for the smoke passed along to the rate payers .

Just the type who have lifestyle blocks tucked in among the pines , oh doesn't it look wonderful . Does too until a mob of "red steers" comes running at the speed of the wind . Re-education for them .

Rob, anything like a black widow spider there?

You know the type that lures the innocent male in, and then bites off their head when finished with him?

I'm glad they are wising up, Rob wink Too many good men's heads gone already.

I have a special interest in trouser snakes, now that you mention it.

I'm doing my dissertation on them.writing
