@Lonely because of the new changes to this site anything is possible in regards to your message disappearing and all.
She was most likely a scammer anyway.

I received a proposal from a young lady who obviously did not read my profile. I am not looking for anyone too young (I have my standads ).
but today I checked again to see if she might still be interested (desperate after another lonely night ) but now I notice that the msg I received and sent are gone! Poof!!
Who has absolute control of my inbox and outbox? I did not delete them.

I think if CS delete a member (read scammer) all their mails are deleted at the same time.
Its happened a few times where I got mail from scammers and a cpl days later their profile and their mail to me was gone.

If a user deletes their profile, your emails to them disappear.
IF CS deletes their profile, their emails to you disappear.
Most likely your eager young suitor was as scammer that got removed by CS.
