What's the story with the "likes" on this site? (40)
Geriatrix2Russell Island, Queensland Australia23 Threads 4 Polls 680 PostsHave had 8 "likes" in the past 2 weeks, yet when I try to see profiles of said "likes" I get either "Profile not found" or "Nobody has liked you yet"? Anyone else having the same problems? .. Personally, I much preferred the old format to this new one...Surely they can't all be scammers? Of course I could be wrong...

Just ignore the Like button
Lots of people say they have had the same issue
If somebody actually likes you, they will email you.

my first like in 6yrs (by memory), i clicked on it and "no profile found" 
broke my heart

I'm guessing that the 'profile not found' thing is because people hide their profiles after 'liking' you.
People sometimes hide their profile before going offline to avoid getting shed loads of scammed mail.
Perhaps an equally dysfunctional attribute of this new set up is that if you click on a profile and get the 'profile not found' thing, their profile still appears on the section indicating that you have viewed it.
I wonder how many people have sighed in disappointment thinking they've been viewed, but not contacted when they haven't actually been viewed at all.

It appears to be a type of scam, by the looks of it, as it's happened so many times with me, that I have given up on it.
