Fact: Mexicans getting into USA by land pay a $7 dollar fee per person.

Fact: Americans getting into Mexico by land and through Tijuana pay $306 pesos = 16 dollar
and that has been in effect since several years back.
American students pay not that fee.

Fact: visa cost for Americans getting into Mexico = 22 dollar.
No cost if their staying is less than 7 days.
Not visa is needed if staying within certain area of the border.

Fact: visa cost application for Mexicans getting into USA = 143 dollar
(today’s exchange)
If visa is not issued there is not money returned.
Per year, Mexicans request to the USA embassies 2 million applications in 20 different categories of visas.

2'000,000X143 = enough to build your wall and at the end Mexicans will be paying for it. roll eyes

What a visitors uh oh
laugh

I had to investigate the costs of the going and coming to USA by land because I have never crossed the USA border (not by land and neither jumping the wall or trough the underground rolling on the floor laughing ) I have always travelled to USA by plane batting

I would love to visit Canada and I must do it in a few years.

What about you?

Any plans to visit Mexico?

If you visit Canada, do it during summer unless you like the cold weather. laugh You're fortunate that you can take a flight and it's probably the best way to travel. I've never flown and likely never will...too expensive to travel. hug

There is also a strong campaign going on to visit Mexico first, also some people are choosing other places for their vacation time, like Canada.

A few weeks ago I went to visit one of my brothers, he and his wife love to go to malls and shop -I would pay for not going to any mall- and they commented that the mall they usually go in USA has been with low activity.

After all, the Trump circus has been a detonant to redefine ourselves, the Mexicans that live, work, pay taxes..... in Mexico.

I think it's a bad move on Trump's part to do what he's done as it's only going to hurt the economy but if tourists want to visit Canada, the more the merrier. laugh I'd love to visit Mexico but then again there are so many places I dream of visiting. daydream

You need to move further than pictures and start doing some research on your own if you want to drink some truth.

Do you have any idea of?

How much a Mexican has to pay in order to apply for a USA visa?
and that is not a guarantee that s/he will get it and s/he will not get their money back if the Visa is not issued.

170 dollar aprox

How many Mexicans do apply for a USA visa yearly?
?
(with all that money you gov can build malls all the length of the border laugh
although it looks like the sales for the american malls in the border are dropping grin )

And many many other charges that of course you would not know about.
Oh, don't go taking it too personal, Life. It's just a pic found on the net posted in a Pictures thread along with other Trump pics about a silly wall. wink

I like Nomade better because of the origen of the word and with so many thousands of years of Homo tontis (especie meaning dumb in Spanish laugh) wandering around by foot all over the continents, we must have Nomade genes although some we have them dominant others recessive.
