2intrigued: The Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) can be seen pretty much anywhere in Canada where light pollution doesn't interfere and there's no cloud cover. Pretty awesome aren't they?

I've seen them a few times over the years but those weren't that bright. While it is possible to see the northern lights almost year-round, the optimal viewing conditions are from January to March.------ This thread is Archived ------

Well, now you know what we feel when you all do post in English and we might not get it
It is about tomorrow's election for governor at one of the states (Mexico state) and it is an important election because it is one of states with political and economic influence and result might tip the balance of the next presidential election.
I do believe that 99.99 % of the politicians are corrupt, they look only for their personal benefit....not matter their party, so to me it makes not difference who wins but since that state has been governed by the same party for 80 or 90 years (
) and that has been because the federal gov of that party (which has been in power many decades) always does some things to buy the people's vote especially the poor ones and so they have won for all that time.
I care not for which party wins but I would like to see a change of "sinvergüenzas" (bad people) "delincuentes" (criminals) which is what mostly politicians are.

I see it as a win win situation....you learning English and others learning Spanish. As far as politicians are concerned, I'm thinking that sometimes it's better to stick with the party that works....kinda like sticking with the devil you know rather than the one you don't know.
