No point trying to reject anything ... what exists exists and it's pointless to pretend by rejecting . changes nothing.
What concerns me most ... that we're being turned into (and allowing it to happen) a 'Spectator Society'
We're inundated with 'watching other people do things as opposed to 'actually doing things'
Adventure ... just watch other people doing it on tv
Sport ... just watch other people doing it on tv
Dating... just watch other people doing it on tv
DIY... just watch other people doing it on tv
Gardening ... just watch other people doing it on tv
Cooking ... just watch other people doing it on tv
Deal with life's issues ... just watch other people doing it on tv
The list can be as long as you choose...
Where once TV was a source of useful education and genuine entertainment nowadays it's just cheap;y made drivel to fill momentary gaps between adverts for rubbish we don;t want or need
