OgGoDeogalway, Galway Ireland19 Threads 248 PostsI sometimes wonder, as somebody who logs in here, uaually about once a week......I enjoy having a read through the forums and blogs for a couple of hours.....I don't interact very often as I don't have much time to be on here....anyway, I just wonder why, with the thousands of people on this site that there are only about 20 or 30 who bother to create blogs or interact on the forums each day or night.....Most posters on the blogs and forums seem to be experts on all the stuff needed as regards relationships ...find chemistry with somebody else etc........Perhaps here on CS a lot of the action is going on behind the perpetual opinions and feelings of those who have time to be here a good bit of time.... Just wondering if people who enjoy blogging and creating threads actually ever meet full blooded people in real life?..... After all it is supposed to be a dating site.....Just my opinion and no insult intended to anybody......

.....I suppose it's easier for us living in Ireland..... No shortage of nice fellas asking us out.....we're living in a small country....it's just that I find it strange, from reading people's posts on the blogs and forums.....sometimes it looks like they talk about stuff as if it was reality.......people living Continent's apart......but, how does any intimate, loving relationship develop from there..?....
I'm just talking about stuff that only happens virtually.....Maybe computers have taken over since the old days but, no substitution, as far as I'm concerned.....maybe I am wrong.....anyway, as I said we are lucky to be livng in Ireland..!..lol...no shortage of takers here....lots of nice fellas here....if we fancy them ..!!....

Yup, I have met, made friends with, and dated, full blooded people in real life.
It is harder for those in isolated places to meet people, so CS then fulfills a need for social interaction, albeit virtual.

Hi Molly....of course you're right that sites like this are a great way for people to interact with each other......It's just that......I'm sure you are familiar with it yourself....it's much easier in a small country like ours to find somebody we like and meet them shortly afterwards...... I just think that with all the energy and time that is spent by posters on the blogs etc chatting to people they possibly will never meet that, if they are genuinly looking for love.....perhaps looking a little closer to home might be better a better option that's all......jmo......
