A Widower, a Divorcee, or someone who has never married and has no children?
From my own personal experience, the Widowers I have met had not really recovered from the loss of their spouse and still living in the past and are usually desperate to find another woman as soon as possible.
The Divorcees I´ve met were ok, as long as they had only been married once, had learned from their mistakes had no anger/resentment issues towards their ex and had lived on their own for some time and moved on.
The ones who have been married 2 or 3 times, with lots of anger issues and still repeating the same pattern are the ones I didn´t get involved with.
As for the men who had never been married and had no kids... another story!
What are your personal experiences?

That's my point exactly. That's why I'm asking opinions from people with experiences.
Of course if I really liked someone I wouldn't hold it against him whatever his past is as long as he's moved on.

My guy friend is an divorcee but he has overcame it and chose to move on.He chose to never hold grudges cause things do often of why some people just don't hit it off sometimes.He empress me so.

No preferences in any potential partner at all I have different things to validate, marital status (as far as he is able to have a public and private relationship with me) is not one of them

I agree with the open mind and somebody´s past shouldn´t be held against them.
Only... the point of this topic was to ask people´s opinion, based on their own personal experiences with x times divorcees, widowers or never married and no kids.
But, as usual, it has been interpreted in a different way as it was intended.
