Perhaps a social group of your peers that do not hang out in bars or pubs? Or church or university social clubs that do not hold their meetings , dances or activities in a bar or pub and new members aren't required to chug 20 pints or something...

I think it is harder to meet someone for a potential relationship in pubs/clubs these days. Maybe join a local club that interests you? Stick with online dating for a while, I've met some really nice genuine guys, my advice is try not to be too picky, chat to all types, you might be pleasantly surprised

Didn't mean it in a sense that there are too many to choose from, more along the lines of not replying to a guy just because he might have a long neck in his picture
