GUZMAN1: I wouldn't say it's a must, but a help sometimes.

Explain how it helps (religion) ?

I have had no enrichment at all from it.

lindsyjones: I'm considering myself religious in my own way, Catholic, and believe in the 10 commandments.

It's not important for me, as it used to be. I don't impose it on anyone nor would I expect anyone to impose it on me.

"It's not important for me, as it used to be"

According to Wikipedia there's only 16 percent of the world's population to be religiously unaffiliated, means it must be something that generally useful if not important to those who has.

I respect other's religion but I don't like those that aim to hurt others because of what they believe in.

yes but.

if people who say they are affiliated with a religion, would know all of what that religion stands for and what it has done in the past in the name of that religion.
I think it would be higher then 16 percent.

and it always annoys me that most people speak
do you believe in God or are you not religious ?

for me God has little to do with the man made religions.

I am not religious,I am spiritual and believe 100 percent in God.
for me that is not blind faith.there are logical reasons why I believe in God.

ok

most religious buildings are more gathering of sheep rather then spiritual.
especially in US they just want to collect money.

it's something to think about though.

give me money OR ELSE you gonna burn in hell for rest of eternity.

We're two of the same minds when it comes to religion. And I might add, my belief in God, don't ever make me hurt others in any way shape or form.

SistaCallie: Firstly, God had nothing to do with creating religion, man created religion. If one considers religion as being close to GOD as a religious person, they are off course... being religious/ religion is about doing works/good deeds to get approval from God... God in all His glory and power He is about a us having a close personal RELATIONSHIP with Him through His Son Jesus Christ.

Secondly, Does not GOD says, If anyone thinks he/she is religious and does not bridle his/her tongue he/she deceives his/her heart, this person's religion is worthless. Religion that is pure and un-defiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

OMG,HE told you that?confused

Its very FAIR INDEED! All people who do not believe in Jesus Christ the anointed one who was God incarnated in the flesh, who came into the world as a man yet He was still GOD, who died on the cross so that YOU and I might have eternal life forever in the spirit, living with Him in heavenly place from whence we first came out of His being.... YES they will be damned to live with their father satan in whom they made a choice to believe in over Jesus who died a suffering death for our sins, so that we who have faith to believe might be SAVED and restored with spiritual bodies never to suffer sickness or death again. They who do not believe and have a close personal RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST have chosen eternal damnation over eternal life. Its very fair.

For sure Jesus did existed and continues to do so, but He is now seated at the right hand of GOD the Father in heaven, making intersessions on your behalf AND MINE AND ALL HIS HUMAN CREATIONS BEHALF... that you/they might ALSO come into a close personal relationship with Him by faith to believe...kiss yay

Jesus was a JEW, all the pictures you see of Jesus are the artist's concepts... not real because THERE NO PHOTOS OR PICTURES of Jesus for man to know how He looked.

However God has given us a small description of Him in the book of Daniels and Revelation... that he is of a humble spirit, with bronze skin, and hair like wool... SO yes, Jesus would look no different than all the other middle easterners/ancient Jew of that 1st century time... of olive to medium, to dark skin... like most Jews even some today! Olive to medium to dark complexion.

Hair like wool sure can't turn into blonde straight hair no matter what happens in the transformation process... laugh hug
